Lawford Mead pupils LOVE Science Days and in October we had our first Science Day of the year. Children had a new set of science-based jobs to learn all about and become:
In the afternoon, children enjoyed a tree treasure hunt outside! They had to find out the names of different trees around our school grounds by looking at their leaves, bark, twigs and even fruit. The children worked in mixed age groups, with older children becoming learning mentors and role models.
We are already excited for Spring Science Day!
