Young Voices Choir at the O2

On Monday 28th January, 40 children from our fantastic Year 5/6 Choir travelled to the O2 Arena in London to perform as part of the Young Voices Choir (over 8000 children!)

They have been working very hard since September to learn 14 different songs and medleys, including 'Moana Mashup', 'Viva La Vida', 'We are the World', 'Greatest Showman' and 'Pop Medley'.

After a long coach journey, a three-hour rehearsal (and a break for tea), we were finally ready to perform!  It was an amazing experience to sing as part of 'the biggest school choir in the world' alongside a live band, professional singers such as Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) and street dancers 'Urban Strides'. We are extremely proud of all the children who sang and danced brilliantly throughout the evening concert. Well done!

You can watch a video of the choir performing in school during a visit by Vicky Ford MP.
