Year 6 - Railway Revolution

For their memorable experience linked to the topic ‘Revolution’, Year 6 enjoyed a fascinating day at Colne Valley. Children went to learn about the origin of the railway, what it was like to work during Victorian times and also what children experienced during day to day life in a real life Victorian classroom.  The children demonstrated wonderful insight into the topic and really got into character! Well done Year 6.

Andrew - The children had a fab day getting into character (as did my wife as a stern Victorian teacher), engaging in the history topic based on what they had learnt through the classroom and their own reading.

Fran Poelman - Love these photos! What an exciting day. I hope all the children really enjoyed it.

Kat - I remember that!
