Christmas time is very special at Lawford Mead. We start with our Christmas jumper and dinner day early in December. The kitchen team put on an amazing feast and we were grateful for all the donations made to the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day campaign. Our Christmas tree was up during the final weeks of term, along with our special Christmas card post box. And as well as our website advent calendar, we always have our traditional knitted version! PALMs, our parent/carer volunteer team, organised four brilliant movie nights when children could snuggle up in PJ’s, onesies and blankets to enjoy a Christmas film together. A particularly special moment this year though was when our choir led the singing at the Saint Andrews carol service. It was an honour to be a part in it and the children sang beautifully. Wishing all our families and the whole school community a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
