"Since (my daughter) started at the infants the availability and variety of both before and after school clubs has increased dramatically, and I know speaking to other parents from other schools this is not the 'normal' and something that a lot of them are envious of. (My daughter) has always been an able student academically, but with the encouragement and support of your team she has been able to explore a wide variety of sports and achieved goals that I am sure she never thought possible. Seeing her face when she crossed the line at cross country earlier this year in 4th place was a very proud moment for myself, but what made me more proud of her was the fact that the people that she wanted to share that achievement with most with were her team members and Miss Lindsay. Lauren has been instilled with the belief by your team that she can achieve anything, and that she is equal to any of the boys, one of her favourite things is football, both the lunchtime sessions and the after school club, and seeing her play as one of the only girls in a field full of boys is something to be proud of for both myself and for you as a school."
"I for one, think the school is amazing, I have had 2 children attend Lawford Mead and am extremely happy with the progress that they have made both academically and sport wise. Our children (and their parents) are extremely lucky to be offered after school clubs every day that are not only varied but very well planned and free of charge (pretty sure no other school offers that). I think your specialist PE teachers are a massive asset to the school, they are both very passionate in what they do. Thank you for bringing them into the school, I have noticed the difference that they have both made to some of the children especially with working on their confidence. They have gained so much respect from the children and rightly so. It is so nice for Lawford Mead to be registered on the map with our sporting events, this is also a wonderful opportunity for children that can shine in these events. I think yourself and your staff make a great team and should be very proud of what you have achieved and will continue to achieve in the future."
"I just want to let you know how grateful I am for the way you encourage the love of learning in your pupils. My grandchildren are so happy in your school. They want to do their homework as soon as they get home without being reminded. They come out of school still enthusiastic. (My grandson) loves Muddy Adventures, which is amazing! This has given him a new found confidence in attempting to use play equipment he used to avoid in parks, he not only copes with getting muddy but says it's the best part of muddy adventures, and has now started verbalising his experiences and feelings from his day in school. We are so grateful for the transformation in him and his attitude toward school which I believe you and your staff have brought about through your stated aims and values. Thank you once again."
"Now that our children are leaving and our family's relationship to the school has come to an end, we wanted to thank you all for everything you have done for our children.
Our children have attended Lawford Mead since our eldest first met Mrs Moston and Mrs Tredget at Nursey (in Lawford Mead Infants School) back in 2008. The transition into Reception seemed so easy that I had no worries about our other children doing the same.
All the teachers the boys have had, have helped them grow, academically and as people. They have also made valuable friendships, some since nursery at just 3 years old.
We have always felt more than satisfied with the education our children have received, but more than that, we will remain ever thankful for your contribution towards the well-rounded boys that they are.
We will always think fondly of Lawford Mead and the boys will miss you all very much."
"I am very pleased to be writing to you to share my appreciation and gratitude with you since my son started school with you in September. As my first child I was very anxious and worried about him starting school and since day one, (the teacher and support staff) made both my son and us as parents very comfortable and at ease with this difficult transition. My son… comes home every day happy and excited (as well as tired) to tell us all about his fun day including, fun songs he has learnt to encourage phonics, actions to phonic sounds, friends he has played with and things he has made. I know some children do not share what they have done at school and I think he likes to share his experience with us because of the way this has been taught to him by his fantastic teachers. I am astonished at how well he has picked up his phonics sounds and reading and writing. He has learnt to much in such a short space of time and I truly believe this is down to his brilliant teachers. I cannot thank both (the teacher and support staff) enough for their continued hard work and the happiness they bring to both my son and parents. They are a real credit to you and your school.

"I recently visited Hylands School for my daughter's pupil consultation day, I spoke to the History teacher who told me, that (my daughter) was a pleasure to teach, a hard worker and some of the work she has produced is to GCSE standard. I believe this is down to her teachers from LMPS pushing her to reach her full potential. He said she her work was laid out perfectly and her use of descriptive wording was perfect."
"(The children) were so excited singing their carols to us and we very much appreciated their attendance. Their singing was enjoyable, fun and a great way to start our Christmas festivities - congratulations to (the teachers) for their hard work in preparing the children...and to all the children for a great turnout and being in excellent voice."
